Nothing Last for Ever
When people fall in love newly it's seems like heavens, romance gets hot and stronger emotions gets deeper than ever, life gets better, smiles is always worn like a mask you don't need to be told, love is an amazing feeling.
As time goes on, the love bird develop habits, i mean they start planning for the future of their respective relationship, how they will survive the test of time and love each other for ever when they know that nothing on earth last forever.
We're living in the, 21st century where Forever has no strong foundation, it's just and empty words like I Love You, it's really meaningless, imagine a broke guy telling a modern day girl I love you when he ain't got no money, the girls I'll be like 'Money Talks ' not words.
The same applies to love lasting for ever, Going with statistics, half of all people who are in relationships end up breaking up and this trend is only getting worse. It is also being witnessed in many parts of the world. It is therefore logical to conclude that love forever might not be possible.
When relationship turns addictive your conscience keep telling you his or she's the right one, the mind set of tempority is totally erased but when the companion is broken you I'll be singing to J. Coles song
The next day you will be feeling so empty, painting blank pictures, recalling every single word he said all the promises!, it's was all for nothing . Roses are expected to last for a long time, unfortunately that's not the case. Once cut and brought into the house, roses don't live very long at all; at best, they will withstand a few days, but not much longer than that.
Am not in anyway saying that love lasting forever is impossible, alot of relationships, marriage do last for years but the truth is bitter they say life is so uncertain and death is so unwanted but it's
around the corner, Nothing Last Forever everything come and goes.

DeleteI guess in a way you are right that nothing lasts forever. I like to think if you settle down with the right one, you will have a love that lasts a VERY long time though.

DeleteSome things can last forever if you work on them. Relationships aren't easy, but they don't have to eventually come to an abrupt end. Both parties have to be willing to commit to doing what it takes to make the relationship work.

DeleteI tend to disagree with the you. I have been married for over 20 years. Has it been easy? No, but we believe our relationship is worth working on and fighting for. I come from a long line of forever relationships: great grandparents married for over 50 years, grandparents married for 54 years, and my mom and dad were married for 36 year, when my dad passed. Over 5 years later my mom still mourns that relationship and says she will never remarry because he was the love of her life. Maybe when we make that statement we should take a look at ourselves and think what forever actually entails.

DeleteThis post seemed so sad and defeated. Perhaps because it is not a reflection of my life. My husband and I have bee happily married for over 23 years, not forever, but a nice long time, a lifetime.

I agree with comments above - if you truly find someone you love - that love can last forever. Of course, people pass on but I do believe that love can last a lifetime.

I believe that love can last forever. All relationships are work. If both people put forth the work it takes then it can certainly last forever.
